I think something to consider is understanding what is most effective feedback for students at an individual level. I have always just provided feedback to students using the rubric marking criteria and demonstrating how they received full marks or how they could have received full marks. This seems to be effective overall (ie: seeing improvements within next written assignment) – however, I need to consider this feedback with a cultural lens. Therefore, further thought for myself is perhaps looking at ways to gain opportunity for student individual preferences to feedback.
